De plek was mooi met het rif erbij en het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Onze airco lekte, dat werd snel en vakkundig verholpen.

Ik zou het omschrijven als te duur voor wat je krijgt. Het is een hotel dat potentie heeft maar het op het moment niet waar maakt. Echt schoon was de kamer niet, er zaten vetvlekken op de muren, vlekken op het bed, er was stof achter het bed en de badkamer was ook niet echt schoon. Het zelfde geldt in het restaurant. De placemats waren gewoon ronduit smerig, die zien er uit alsof ze nooit zijn schoongemaakt. Het eten was op zich goed maar redelijk duur. 11 euro voor een club sandwich bijvoorbeeld zou ik in Nederland al echt aan de prijs vinden, in Sri Lanka is het veel te duur ondanks de gestegen prijzen. In de avond is er een vast menu met onsamenhangende gerechten, wat een redelijk goede deal is maar als je a la carte wil bestellen (omdat je geen 4gangen wil) dan zit je weer aan hoge prijzen vast. Gelukkig zijn er veel restaurantjes iets verderop waar je gemakkelijk de helft betaalt. Al met al vind ik de kamers en het eten het geld niet waard.

Amazing location+ comfortable rooms with stunning views + gave a wonderful cot for my infant. 24/7 hot water. The attached balcony was super spacious and given the views form there almost all our time was spent there only. The beach adjoining the hotel is just perfect! The force of the waves is reduced by a nearby reef so the waves are nice and safe for even kids to play in. Pool is also wonderful. Staff is friendly and warm. They even have us complementary Christmas cake as we were there on Christmas Eve. Breakfast was decent at the property. As it wasn't included in our package, we paid an additional amount of 3000 rs per person. Uber eats delivers food from numerous nearby restaurants as well.

Well, the first night we were there we wanted to order food from the restaurant. We only had the number of the reception. Reception said they cant take order on phone and will send someone to our room. We called reception twice and yet they did not send anyone to take our order. Finally we just made do with what we had with us and went to bed...that was our only negative experience...all the remaining times we called reception asking for water, towels etc, they immediately complied.

Food

- location, right on the beach. We were during off season and the beach and pool were empty - private beach - a la carte menu from the restaurant was very good (even though we had to wait 2 hours for our food to come - maybe because it was off season. Their prices were a bit high compared with other places - the view from the room was amazing - very helpful staff

- bathroom was very smelly and small - repeated breakfast - only one other restaurant close to the hotel (we had a car and that was not a problem for us) - during our stay the hotel, the elevator was not working - they did not have a place for our renovation - the room door was difficult to close

Evertything was good, the staff exceptional, the food was good, could've done with a bit more vegeterian varieties, but everything else was good, the location by the beach was great, the pool was good and quiet.

The room was cozy and nice. The staff was exceptional. They welcomed us with a drink and the check-in and checkout experience was very smooth and easy. Overall it was a great experience.

Not much, but could use some renovations.

Spacious rooms, yummy food. And great service. Friendly staff. Great location. This is a hotel that gives a breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean. A must visit if you are in Srilanka. Ideal for family couples or anyone travelling solo like me, just can't get over the spacious rooms. It's luxury and you feel so comfortable in the rooms
